The Community Cat Tracker fills an urgent need in the stray cat community. Many carers find their cats missing at a distressing rate and having a tracker would alleviate a lot of this anxiety and allow them to take care of the cats better.

One of the elephants in the room of course is who is going to pay for the cat trackers? Each one costs around US$50 and face the risk of being lost.

The sponsorship program I proposed fills this gap neatly. Sponsors can choose a cat to buy a tracker for or allow it to be randomized. In return, they can have their name or company logo on the cat's page.

I do hope this gets built someday, as through my competitive audit, the community cat tracking service does not exist anywhere in the world right now. With the sponsorship program, I hope corporates will reconsider.
